The Elements Apartment
A residence in Dubai overlooking the sea, designed as a composition of natural elements, materials, and collected artefacts. The interior is shaped through earthy tones, tactile surfaces, and a calm architectural language that frames both the view and the objects within it.
The space brings together contemporary living and curated fragments of nature and history, including fossilised wood and other natural artefacts, creating a quiet dialogue between sea, stone, and earth.

The living room is all about enjoying the view of the sea. We emphasized earthy and creamy tones to create an atmosphere of relaxation. The carpet is made of natural wool and was produced specifically for this project by Art de Vivre Rugs
The open kitchen in natural veneer and marble is connected with the living room. It adds an organic feeling to the space. The painting is another of our finds from Rarares Gallery.
All our design decisions were inspired by our client’s collection of art and petrified wood sculptures. They are essentially ancient trees that over millions of years turned into stone while preserving their original texture.
In guest bedroom #1 we played with textures by combining different scales of geometrical patterns into a harmonious composition.
We decided to frame the sea view with Elitis textile. For the curtains of guest room #2 we used natural linen, which matches the palette of the artwork and the pony skin carpet.
The master bedroom, as all the others, favours minimalistic shapes and rather uniform earthy palettes that we purposefully contrast with the colors of the artwork.
We chose travertine silver texture as a perfect background for the shower and marble for the vanity table that harbors the sink.
