Heritage Atelier Moscow
A jewelry boutique set within a historic Moscow mansion, where original architectural elements are preserved and carefully revealed through an eclectic, contemporary interior approach. Previously interrupted enfilades are reinterpreted using mirrors, restoring spatial continuity and emphasizing the rhythm of the historic architecture.
The design balances heritage with a modern fashion sensibility, reflecting the contemporary language of jewelry creation. Curated artworks by a renowned artist and refined material contrasts create a dialogue between history, reflection, and craftsmanship.

This space in an 18th century mansion in the center of Moscow has a lot of character in itself. We wanted to preserve it, fill it with light and add colors and patterns for an extra bit of fun.
We reupholstered an antique russian-empire sofa with contemporary velvet for the perfect contrast againt the colors and textures of the wood. One of the main treasures to accomodate in this project was a small collection of Koshlyakov’s paintings.
The doors in this room did not survive the soviet times, so we filled the frames with mirrors to accentuate the enfilade layout of the space and to add more light.
Every piece of furniture and decorative element was selected with great precision. The antique venetian mirror above the fireplace is part of the client’s personal collection. The lounge area was specifically conceived and produced by Braginskaya & Architects to ensure the comfort of the visitors of the showroom while they are trying the jewelry. For example, the table was made with a special height so that customers could try the jewelry and observe themselves in the mirrors with ease.
The placement of the mirrors allows for a clear throwback to the idea of an infinite enfilade like the one you would find in old palaces.
