The First Atelier
Our first studio was located in a historic Moscow factory — an authentic industrial space and one of the city’s distinctive creative landmarks. It was the home of our bureau when it was still known as Atelier Interior.
We embraced the raw character of the former factory, painting even the original brick walls and ceiling in deep graphite to create a dramatic backdrop for a simple contemporary setting. Natural wood, antiques, sculptural furniture and a rich collection of art brought warmth, character and a sense of history to the space.
We believe that design and art are inseparable. This studio was an early expression of that philosophy — a place where architecture, furniture, objects and art came together as one evolving creative environment
