Factory House
The challenge was to transform a three-level apartment within a reconstructed historic factory into a comfortable, light-filled home.
We took part in the reconstruction process, advocating for larger windows and openings to bring more natural light into the deep interior spaces. Inside, we kept the architecture clean and restrained, using unexpected colour combinations, contemporary furniture and carefully selected details to give the apartment a strong, individual character.
Neutral background, dark grey and warm natural wood create a welcoming ambience for the art pieces and bright accent pieces.
The custom made kitchen ads texture. We used natural slate stone for the facedes that made the kitchen look solid and make an original contrast with the chevron parquet.
Trussardi Casa armchair in bright wine colored velvet becomes the main accent next to the fireplace.
Dark colors are our favourite way to present bold patterns like this Kelly Weastler rug in the bedroom or that traditional tiles in the entrance hall.
We were very happy that it was possible for us to change the facade of the historical building this apartment is situated. big windows in all the rooms completely changed the way this space looks and feels like.
